Painting 101
You will learn about the makeup of chalk paint and milk paint and why they're different from acrylic. You learn all the techniques necessary to create your own beautiful heirloom at home. I will show you the proper application of paint, distressing, and finishing.
These steps will prepare you to take furniture painting to the next level. You’ll take home a hand painted color sheet, sample boards and confidence to tackle your project.

Private Group Classes
Grab up to 12 of your friends for a fun night of painting at the Furniture Rescue. Snacks and wine provided. Feel free to contact me to make arrangements for a catered dinner, cake or any special requests. Classes last approximately 3 hours.

One-on-One Classes
Meet with Joni or a member of the creative team in a one-on-one setting to work on anything you've got on your wish list. If you have always wanted to learn how to {fill in the blank}, chances are we can do it together. It can be as simple as learning to paint furniture to decorative embellishments to a particular upholstery technique to anything in between.
You can bring in a piece of furniture that you purchased at The Furniture Rescue, or an item you've been waiting to work on. Let's spend two hours getting started on it - or even finishing it.
These classes are scheduled outside of shop hours. Give us a call and we'll find a time that works for you! One-on-one classes start at $300 and you are welcome to bring a friend or family member to work on the project with you.
